<p> The curl gel is applied directly after the leave-in conditioner to fix the definition and give the hair hold for days.</p>

<p><strong>Step 1:</strong> First, make sure your hair is still wet. If it is a little dry, cover your hair with water again using a spray bottle.</p>

<p> <strong>Optional step 2:</strong> If your hair loves a lot of hold, we recommend layering 2 gels one after the other. At Curl Bites we also call this the 2-Step-Hold System, with which you can achieve maximum definition and maximum hold. To do this, apply the Volume &amp; Hold Scrunching Gel as the first gel, which provides medium hold and great volume.</p>

<p> <strong>Step 3:</strong> Apply the Mega Definition Strong Hold Gel, which provides strong hold and extra definition. Rub the product between your palms and distribute it throughout wet hair. Now gently but firmly scrunch the hair in upward movements so that the curls jump and form their pattern. Make sure you have used enough product.</p>

<p><strong>Step 4:</strong> Now diffuse the hair with a hairdryer on medium-high setting and medium heat. Make sure to turn your head in all directions while drying to increase the volume.</p>

<p> <strong>Step 5:</strong> Once the hair is completely dry, scrunch it again to break the gel cast and make your hair super soft and smooth.</p>

<p> <strong>What is a gel cast anyway?</strong><br> Holding ingredients leave a clear film on dry hair. In the world of curls, we call this "gelcast". This is a hard layer around the individual strands of hair, the hair feels frozen and/or looks "wet". This is a very good sign of great hold and definition. We simply have to knead this gelcast out of the hair and conjure up the defined, soft, bouncy curls and waves that we want.</p>
