"I'm Christine and have been a Lockenbox customer since December 2019. My favorite products are the following:
1) Shampoo: Curl Girl Nordic Shampoo
I massage this thoroughly into my scalp and then rinse it out.
2) Conditioner: Curl Girl Nordic Conditioner
I detangle my hair with my fingers while the conditioner works.
3) Deep Conditioner for Moisture: Ecoslay Banana Cream
I use this deep conditioner every 2-4 weeks to provide my hair with plenty of moisture.
4) Deep Conditioner for Proteins: Ecoslay Matcha Boost
I use this protein treatment once a month after washing my hair. I leave it in for 30 minutes, then I wash it out. A protein treatment that packs a punch! My absolute miracle cure for making my curls pop again! It helps me get my droopy curls to bounce again.
5) Detangler: Breahni Weigntless Detangler
I prefer to use the Breahni Weightless Detangler as a detangler when my hair is too tangled to be untangled with just my hands or a comb.
6) Leave in: Sumilayi Leave-in Conditioner
I like to use the Sumilayi Leave-in together with the Curl crush Flaxseed & Marshmallow Gel.
I first knead the leave-in into the tips, then squeeze out some water with a cloth and then knead in the flaxseed gel.
For easy styling and a little more definition I prefer to use the Breahni series .
I work the Breahni Milk and the Breahni Gel into each individual strand. I first knead the milk into the tips, then squeeze out some water with a cloth and then knead in the gel. I twist the strands on the bangs a little so that they are extra defined there.
Finally, I pop the hair up, preferably wrapped in a T-shirt, because you shouldn't touch the hair while it's drying.
To finish, I run a comb or afro pick through the hair to add some volume. It is important that the curls do not stick to the scalp while drying :)
At night I use a silk pillowcase so that the curls don't break.
The next day I refresh my curls with a spray bottle. I like to fill the bottle with a little water and a dash of any styling product. Otherwise I also like to use the Breahni Hair Refresher.
Best regards,
Christine"
